At the age of 22, I owned a major brand physiotherapy clinic. Over the next 15 years, I treated countless people and worked with extremely capable colleagues. I have developed friendships with my business partners, as well as with my patients. The way the clinic operated was simple: to offer the best possible treatments, but unfortunately in a time that was more limited. There was the disadvantage of working for a big banner.<\/span><\/p>

At the beginning of my career, this mode of operation satisfied me because it allowed me to put my practice into action and I found that I was efficient. However, over the years, I found that I was not spending enough time with each patient. I started wanting to spend more time with each person in order to give them all the attention they deserve and thus be able to provide better care. The little I had with my patients did not allow me to offer adequate treatment and thus allow a real acceleration of their healing.<\/span><\/p>

Since I was a franchisee, it was not easy to make changes to how the banner operated.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The only option for me at that time was to build my own physiotherapy clinic. As I already had the soul of an entrepreneur, I was not afraid to throw myself into the void and start from scratch.<\/span><\/p>

So I left the franchise to open my own physiotherapy clinic where therapists would have time to see every patient. Take the time to listen to them, understand them and provide appropriate care.<\/span><\/p>

After 5 years of work, the Altius Physio clinics have finally seen the light of day. We now have therapists who spend a minimum of 45 minutes with each patient. We listen to their needs and their bodies.<\/span><\/p>
